I have some classic fit polo's in the small size, which fit fine but seem a little loose in the mid-section, so I wanted to give the custom fit a try and see if it would be a little more form-fitting. I ordered the small, and it fit rather tight, but didn't look bad. After washing it one time, it's now too small. Next time I think I'll order the medium.So, if you wear a medium in the classic fit, for example, go with a large in the custom fit.Ralph Lauren needs to take a look at how Hilfiger is making their slim/custom fit Polos. I am size "L" and I ordered a Ralph Lauren size "L" custom fit and my biceps were getting squeezed by the tiny opeing for the arms. I gave the shirt to a friend who was a medium and it fit perfect. So I ordered the XL RL Polo and my arms now fit but the rest of the shirt is baggy like a classic fit. I have several Hilfiger slim fits in size "L" that fit me perfectly. It's as if RL made their custom fit shirts to fit super thin guys. I am 6' tall with a 32" waste and 190 lbs. Most the guys I see wearing the polos are built like me not like thin model types. They dropped the ball on this one IMHO. I am sure your mileage may vary as we are all not built alike but for me, the Hilfiger is the fit I am looking for. Fabric and stitching are good quality but that's what $60 is supposed to get you.I bought this shirt for my husband and I love it on him. I got him a Medium, as he is about 5'10 with a muscular body. As in, he works out quite a bit, however does not live in the gym. His arms look great in it! These are a fantastic quality as well and I definitely recommend it. I will buy some other colors one of these days.Over I was very happy with the color and fit of the shirt. I would buy from this vendor again.This fit snug on the arms. I am 5' 9" 175lb. I like the way this fits. I have to tuck it in because it's a bit long, but works great for casual Friday.Love the green color. The fit is a bit bigger than a custom but slightly smaller than the classic. For me it is the perfect fit.These fit ok, though run a little small; in addition the material is a rough mesh cotton, I have two Polo shirts I bought in the past at department stores and this material does not feel at all the same (the department store polo shirts are a soft cotton; these are not).He loved it...Tiene tela muy suave y encaja muy bien, aunque está un poco grande de abajoExcellent Value.
